This is fascinating. What you are really saying is that politicians who operate based on the will of the people are bad.

If you don't want politicians to listen the people, what should they listen to? The Bible? Miss Manners? The Qur'an? The Heritage Foundation? Pat Robertson?

I, for one, believe democracy is a pretty neat idea, and that the will of the people is a fine thing for anyone to listen to.

Liberals I would think would Vote for preserving our Liberty. If they vote another way they really wouldn't be a liberal in that respect. I usualy come down in support of our freedoms so usually I am Liberal, but I am not for Liberty of criminals etc. so I could not be called a Libearl then. It is not that my mind changes, it is just that labels do not fit everyone.

on what they perceive to be the popular opinion of the day.
I'm Conservative, I could care less about polls or opinions or

come Hell or high water, to keep our Nation Strong, not weaken
by Liberal causes or Liberal Judges.

it extremely is sparkling you don't be attentive to something approximately polling. one million) initially, it extremely is not consistently geared in the direction of a pre-desperate result. in fact, ones that are land up that way using fact they do no longer save on with widespread standards and protocols of polling. those are seen to be wrong and lacking in statistical validity. 2) Polls are designed to get a correct count form with no need to ask each and each guy or woman. this could be a (back) scientifically shown technique familiar as SAMPLING. Random, representative samples are very precise in offering effects that very properly tournament up with the outcomes which may be gained via asking each and every member of the final inhabitants. Very precise, yet no longer a hundred% precise. that's why polls additionally incorporate a "margin of errors" - it extremely is the potential for the pattern no longer matching up. that's no longer random, invented form. all of us be attentive to adequate relating to the validity of random sampling the place we can calculate the estimated conceivable margin of errors based on the layout and length of the pattern. you ought to no longer communicate approximately manipulation of technological know-how, using fact it extremely is tremendously sparkling out of your question which you lack even a consumer-friendly know-how of it, on a similar time as suggestions prepare to polls. As to why liberals might have faith in polls for something, they don't have faith in them to strengthen their very own evaluations. They use them to refute the fake theory placed forward via conservatives that conservatives characterize the "common" or "mainstream" evaluations, and that they are the "actual" individuals mutually as liberals are someway on the perimeter. Conservatives have executed an astonishing interest demonizing words like "liberal", so human beings ought to be afraid to apply that notice to perceive themselves using detrimental connotation that the consistent smearing has extra to the notice. despite the fact that, in case you seem at "liberal" vs "conservative" perspectives on any laundry checklist of subjects, the standard public of people fall on the liberal component. they do merely no longer purely like the connotation or fake stereotype that is going with the sketch.
