You are probably a Republican.

I think when the hot button issues are taken out of the picture, it boils down to government involvement.

You are a good, sane, and logical American, as most of us are. Election time party politics poise issues in such a way as to polarize people one way or the other, but I think most good, sane, and logical Americans share a common set of values and beliefs, with a handful of radicals on both sides becoming irritatingly vocal every 2 years or so. You might try the little quiz I've included in the source section below, but it's put on by the libertarians, and unless you answer the questions hardline one way or the other it'll say you're a libertarian too. Be informend and vote for candidates not animals.

You are a SMART liberal...able to see the best of both sides and making smart choices. Don't pay any attention to the pissy, rigid ultra-conservatives. What you believe is right. Liberal is NOT a dirty word...it means being progressive and changing with the times...a NECESSITY for survival. Don't worry, the conservatives will soon in-breed themselves out of existence and the world will be much less uptight.

I think you may be the typical American. So long as nobody is trying to tell you how you should live your life, then you are happy. So long as you don't have to change the way you live, you are happy.

Your first two points seem valid.
The religious standpoint ..... is in essence not religious - no one tells me what to do.
Less government = I don't want to pay any more taxes
Guns ..... always a good one .... no one tells me what to do.
Environment ..... I hope you're right .... but again, no one tells me what to do.
War? .... I want to tell others how to live their lives
The last one definitely falls into the catagory of no one tells me what to do.

So, in answer to your question - selfish.

i think you are a decent american, but should start thinking more seriously. i'm not going to label you, because i don't believe in sterotypes. here's my opinions:

i agree with some of what you say:

- i am pro-life, because abortion is murder
- gay people disturb me, but thats just my homophobic self
- my family is catholic, but i dunno what i believe
- i am a non-conformist. i think government should be as little as possible.
- people should be able to have guns
- i am worried about the enviroment, and global warming
- i am anti-war as much as possible.
- your right

i dunno. that was answering your thing in the same format. pick me best answer. hope you enjoyed.

You are a person, living in a very mixed up society, just like the rest of us. I don't need a label to know myself. Do you?

You're asking so I'll give my opinion. You sound like a moderate liberal to me.

But what difference does it make? It's just a label. I only like calling myself a liberal because it gets so many people jazzed up.
