This is my purpose for my project:
Can you make two raw eggs float in a half glass of salt and plain warm water? The purpose of my experiment is to see whether the raw egg will either float or not in salt water. I got interested in doing this project by reading a Simple Science Fun book that my mom got from work. I was skimming through the pages and when I got to this experiment, it caught my attention right away. I wanted to do it as my science fair project because it sounded so cool and unique. I really wanted to find out whether the raw egg will float in salt water or not. ANother purpose of doing this expeeriment is...

What else should I add? Thanks for your help! :)

Since you are on Yahoo! Answers, I’m going to assume that you are at least in Jr. High. With that, Your Science Fair project purpose is too vague. The purpose is just a restatement of your initial question. The purpose of this project stated by the asker, should deal with buoyancy, in that will adding salt make a difference. Since you are only using non-salted and salted water, maybe you should think about other ingredients to add (baking soda, flour, powdered detergent,…). Even though most other items added to the water will not help with floating, the fact that you tried more than two options will add points in your judging. Many times is Science, it is thought that an experiment will have a question, a procedure, and a simple answer. Really a good experiment will have a multi-part question, with a procedure that will take some time to complete, and the end will answer the question, and lead to new questions.
When you get project ideas from books (even older books) odds are not in your favor that no one else will be doing that project or a similar project. Look for principles and theories in the field of science you are doing you project. A good foundation for your information is key to any project. Variety is always good in science. So don’t be afraid to add to your project.
Have fun!!

I did one approximately plant development below one of a kind coloured lights instances. I took them from seed to stalk and had a coloured quilt over them perpetually. I confirmed how mild performed little change after they have been nonetheless underground and simply opening to peek out. After that the lighter colours and the ones so much like traditional solar mild grew the quickest. I learned which one "gained" via counting the leaves they grew. Easy undertaking. four potted crops. A few coloured soda bottles. A develop mild. You can are compatible the complete factor in a field and deliver that during to exhibit with the last undertaking. Water as soon as an afternoon and fertilize as soon as on the establishing of the undertaking. Take a couple of portraits and performed.
