I used to have fairly long, easy to curl lashes. Over the years, they have gotten shorter and are now almost impossible to curl. Is there a decent eyelash curler out there for shorter, resistant lashes?

I have the same problem. I use an old mascara wand & apply hair paste/mold & let it dry a bit. Then I heat my eyelash curler with the hair dryer & it the paste seems to make my lashes hold the curl better. Then I apply Cover Girl Lash Exact mascara. It doesn't clump or make your lashes look goopy.

Avon makes a GREAT eyelash curler that actually heats up to a safe temperature in under a minute. The heat serves like a curling iron and your curl will not only be instant- but will last MUCH longer. It's great! I've used a hairdryer to heat up my eyelash curler in the past and that works too- but it's easy to overheat. If you do that, please be very careful. Eyelashes are so thin, it does not take much heat to get them curled. I would highly recommend the Avon curler- it's only $4.99!!

There are eyelash curlers that uses heat for eyelashes that doesn't curl. You may also consider perming it? I had friends who permed their eyelashes and it was pretty nice. It lasts for about 6 months.

i have long eyelashes and i still have a hard time for it to curl. i swear i look like snuffleoffigus, the mammoth from sesame street. but the best thing i heard that helps is to blow dry your eyelash curler for a bit until it get hot, but be careful not to burn yourself. and then go ahead and curl them, and it really works.
