No one has a key to my house except my man and my son. The others who want to come over for any reason (like my daughter) have to get the key from one of us.

Yes!! It is a very common thing for adults to do this. Anyone can
lose, misplace, or forget a house key.

No.
In this day and age, security is the first order. A best friend can still do stupid things and the friendship would suffer.
Best to keep your keys to yourself.

no, not unless i really need for him/her to have it for emergency purposes, life is not a tv sitcom its reality and having your best friend your key to the house is not a wise thing to do because someday things will happen that you will lose you best friends because of the keys! it may not happen but more or less it will happen, believe me.

My husband and I each have a key, as well as a neighbor that we know well and can trust just in case one of us gets locked out.

Yes. If it is your best friend you should be able to trust them. Plus it is helpful if you lock your self out. You will be able to contact them to get the extra key.

How long have you been best friends? i mean, my husband's family's friend has our key, but he has known them for a majority of his life. They pretty much raised him. They were friends for a long time. However, if you barely know them, maybe for a few years, then absolutley not.

Yes. My best friend is like my brother. I trust him with my life. We've known each other 22 years.
