Microsoft has the market corned on the PC.
Internet Explorer is the leading Internet Browser, because about 90% of the people with PCs use Microsoft Windows for their Operating System. When you install Windows Internet Explore is offered free, and it is easy to download and incorporate into your Operating System so most people just download the Internet Explorer.
Previously IE was offered as part of the package with Windows, but a lawsuit changed that. Now days Microsoft gets around that by including a link to download IE with the installation of Windows.

you'll get a lot of people that will tell you that Firefox is the best. same group of people that use Macs( most mac users are so hardcore mac that it gets annoying Just like Firefox Users!! HEY!! *thumbs up*) But the reality is that there are so many Plug ins for firefox that its almost worth staying with Internet explorer. If you are the kind of person who likes the "tab" feature for firefox you can download a new Internet explorer that is designed for Yahoo! and it has the tab function as well
