What should I wear? Should I go as a normal girl, or a cheerleader, schoolgirl, princess, ballerina, etc? I know nothing - tell me what to wear competely -! Thanks!

well.....are u a girl? those are all really good ideas especially if your a guy. I can't pick which one I like best.
If you pick cheerleader wear short shorts or a mini skirt and a matching shirt. Don't wear more than two colors. Get some pom pons. Its not that hard....
As for a school girl, Get a plaid blue skirt that goes at least to your knees, a tight fitted collared shirt to match (white or blue). Put you hair in pigtails. Maybe a necklace with a cross pendant to pull it of as an innocent christian girl.
For a princess, wear a sparkly dress or spay it with sparkle spray. The color doesn't matter. Silver is a good color. Wear a tiara, wear some makeup. buy a wand with a star at the end. don't wear heels if your planning to go around the neighborhood trick or treating.
For a ballerina, wear pink tights, a black or pink leotard with a skirt or a tutu. Wear leg warmers if you can find any. Pink or black ballet slippers too. Pointe shoes are a little expensive for a Halloween costume. A little tiara maybe.
A few pony tails in your hair might be funny. A wig is even better. Have a friend of yours (preferably a girl) put some make up on you. Lipstick, blush, mascara ect.

Hey! guess what? I just got back from shopping and I am going as a dark fairy! Black skirt, black shirt, and black pantyhose. Make wings from wire hangers and put the pantyhose over them. Rip the clothes to add effect, and as far as the makeup, put a bunch of mascara on and use an eyedropper to make it look like you were crying, and the mascara will run down your face. Wear cute black high heals. I got the idea from Neopets! :) (The fairy that looks like this is called the Gray Faerie!)

Cheerleader!!!! Get a blond wig and put it in a ponytail. Grab pom poms! Wear a skirt with matching long sleeve or short sleeve T shirt. Top it off with plain white sneakers! Maybe some red lipstick...

pink pffy dress, tiara, any pink shoes, lipstick red, blonde or pink wig and a little stick with a heart on top like a scepter.
and wear any of your mom/aunt/sister/stepmom/grandma/godmother's necklaces that aren't too expensive and some clip on earrings
