My least favorite is when people say 'at the end of the day.' Also 'it goes without saying', & 'by the same token.' Got any more?

my least favourite would be 'at the end of the day', but i do find myself saying this online from time to time. my favourite would be 'dont judge a book by its cover' as that is soo true. unfortunately, i hav put that into practice and it didnt turn out any good. i didnt want to judge sum1 based on the fact they were persian/muslim and 24, me having just turned seventeen at the time, but at the end of the day literally i had to because he had tried to take advantage of me, which meant my sister was right about the sorta man he was/is. he didnt even take into consideration what i had said to him about the way i felt, and therefore i had no choice but to never speak to him ever again. i've moved on with my life now and currently hav taken interest in one of my guy friends who treats me really well and who i enjoy hanging out with, and hav grown to like him. i hav only seen him on three occasions, the 4th will b on my birthday, but at the same time the total number of hours spent with him would add up to a full days worth - 24 hours approximately

I hate when my mother says, The lights are on but nobody is home or when she says Be you are late so you have no fate as in she means: I will probably not go to a party anytime soon.

Not an actual expression but I hate it when people actually use the word actually in an actual sentence where it isn't actually required. If you can't actually think quick enough you can actually throw this word in and you actually buy yourself some time!

I had a teacher who after almost every sentence he stated would say "Is it not?" ( 'The grass is green...is it not?')
Everyone in class would actually tally up how many times he said it in one class.
