Dear Rori: The product is tried and true. It's been on the store shelves for decades. My husband and I, in the 1970s, used it constantly. It is beautiful; good for your skin and scalp! I was so in love with that product. Don't even know why I moved on, eventually, to anything else! Just decided to try other things too, as time went along. I have nothing but excellent things to say about this product. The Peppermint fragrance was WOW. It is very gentle - I can't imagine it harming ANY skin!

Yes, & I like the peppermint. It's a little strong and I'm not sure I would recommend it for sensitive skin, but it's very sudsy and (I think) biodegradable.
