PC Magazine:
Lexmark rated the worst printer in the United States.
HP and Canon tie for the best printers in the United States. HP remains the best selling printer in the world.
Lexmark users have trouble with the ink cartridges as well as general problems with the printers themselves. Definately go with the HP.

Go for the HP. Lexmark 3200's are notorious for paper jams, not to mention extremely expensive ink replacements (use ink much faster than HP DeskJets).

depends what kind of work you need to have done. alsdo, it depends on the DPI, the price, and the other many factors involeved. i would pick an HP since that is what I have- i am a college student, my sis has the same printer/copier/scanner as mine-she is also a student in college- and my folks back home have an HP as our printer!it is good quality and lasts, the prices are good and the performance of it has never let me down!

HP.. just look at the cost (and capacity) of the replacement cartridges. you will get much more value out of the HP.
