My only approaches in trying to meet celebs I have liked have been to enter the competitions to meet them or hang around outside their concert venues or places you know that they will DEFINITELY be (like radio interviews).
Generally the people who have met the really famous groups are those who have invested a lot of time and money into it. It depends how much trouble you are prepared to go to.

Clearly they are much to busy to come to you, so arrange to go to one of their 'gigs' and hand in a written request for a brief meeting. You may be lucky but that is how it often works.

Ask yourself what meeting them will actually achieve. It might mean the world to you, but it won't mean a thing to them. Keep your distance and worship from afar would be my suggestion.

Why bother, they're not very good and your life will not improve one bit even if you do meet them for 5 seconds.

When they next have a show in your area, get tickets and write to them before the show, perhaps if you are not too `over-powering` to them, they might invite you backstage,

Get yourself an incurable disease or longterm/rare illness. A coma also works well.

my bro and his g/f saw them on the sharon osborne show last week, just keep an eye out for shows and gigs and get tickets.
