It really depends on what type of soul mate you are discussing.
You can certainly have more than one *great, true love* in your life. That person (or those persons) may or may not be (a) soul mate(s).
You can have non-romantic soul mates as well, such as best friends (same sex or otherwise), or you can feel a stong *soul mate* connection to a family member, such as a parent, grandparent, child, cousin, etc.
Most people would consider a soul mate to be a person with whom they can be competely open and honest with, someone with whom there is a deeper level of communication and understanding, and someone who makes their life feel "complete" - whose absence (such as death) renders the survivor feeling as if a part of their own soul has been ripped away.

A "soul mate" is a grand romantic notion. If you are an honest, trustworthy, all-round good person who enjoys the company of others, you will find many soul mates, in different roles, of different ages, of both genders. These are people who know you completely and love you deeply.
A romantic "soul mate" is a lover/spouse who knows you completely and loves you deeply. And yes, if through bad fortune the one you love is taken from you, you can find another.

Personally I think the term "soul mate" is used too loosely.
You can be in a good relationship that works for this particular time in your life and then for whatever reason you both move on.

Yes. Possibility does still exist, and so does choice. You are the chooser of the soul mate, so it's entirely within your hands, and there could very well be more than one soul mate.

My soul mate must be as like as she. She might want to no longer substitute his originality or personality for others. i will attempt to modify including her. In my journey my soul mate is better adjustment with me. So usually both are modify with circumstances.

I really don't know, if we all had only one soulmate then well obviously most of us just have to make do, which is pretty sad I reckon and not real good for us to know. I mean who wants to know that they are just the next best thing.
Lucky you if you can find more than one.

No Way. It may take us a few tries, but there is only one special someone out there for all of us. Just remember we may not always know they are not the one until its over.

No, there is one person in the world who is your soulmate. You can fall in love with other people in your lifetime, but loving someone, and them being your soulmate are two very different things.
