I use teletext on the various channels all the time, particularly during the adverts to check the latest news and sports results etc. I have never heard of the Bamboozle quiz.

Its still the quickest way to check the football scores on a saturday afternoon. Typing '316' into ceefax is a lot quicker than booting up a PC or wading through six levels of menu on freeview. So, yes I still use it but only for a very few things,

I use teletext 606 on BBC1 or 120 on ITV to check the programme listings.

I have a friend who is 86 on Thursday I've just showed her how to operate her new DVD player, but she draws the line at computers and prefers to watch teletext for weather etc

Bamboozle?? Is that still running? I thought that would be well gone.
I've not been on teletext since the late 90s!

I think because technology has got fast and teletext is the equivilent of asking your granny to look something up in the t.v guide people find other means. text on sky means you can watch t.v. at the same time. But my dad still uses it to check whats going on in events and we still like Bamboozle.

Yeah Teletext!
Don't forget Ceefax too.
I use 'em both.
Like for the video games pages on C4.
I'm surprised they're still around.

Its handy to quickly check the news, TV schedule, weather, soap storylines...especially when bottle-feeding the baby on one arm!
What is most annoying though is that quite often the pages have some kind of error which means that letters are missing in the text or replaced by punctuation marks so it looks like gobbledygook...grrrr.

A fair number of people still use TT to check travel / holiday bargains.
Often cheaper on TT than online.
