The 50's! I absolutely love hearing my mom tell stories about being a teenager and freaking out at Elvis concerts and wearing poodle skirts dancing to doo-wop music on a Friday night.

That depends on the individual. many decades seems to have something to offer.

20's - The roaring 20's, not sure teens were that affected, but was sure great to be a young person. Cars, Airplanes and speedboats. 23 skidoo!

50's - That new thing called Rock n roll & edless prosperity

60's - Social awareness - empowerment, civil rights - but vietnam for 50,000 teens that didnt' make 20.

70's - Great music, the bands of the 60's maturing into classic rock

80's - Great party decade.

90's - Infromation revoluion, the internet.

40's - were tough for WWII but think how those who fought could look back with pride for the rest of their live. The Greates Generation.

30's - Great depression, definitly the loser in the bunch.

I don't know if anyone can answer that, because they only had one childhood and one teenage-hood. Sertainly not the 40s in Russia... WWII and all that bombing....

Depends on the country. I would guess 60s or 70s if it is US. No fun if it was Afganistan or Vietnam...

Early '90s. Great cartoons like Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, music like SoundGarden, Nirvana, Oasis, and Smashing Pumpkins, the world was more peaceful back then, no threat of nuclear war...

The only reason why I didn't mention mid to late 90s was because of the re-emergence of pop music like n'sync and crapstreet boys...

For a great many people the teens are not fondly remembered, what ever the decade that they endured that tortured period. I would not relive that time for anything in this world.

I loved the 80's. We had computers and video games and c.d.'s, we were not deprived by any means. And the music was much cooler than what is going on now...

I think in the 60's and 70's. Mainly because if you made mistakes with partners all the sexually transmitted infections then could be treated with antibiotics. Now we have HPV and HIV and they can kill you.

If anything, I'm guessing NOW. Think about it, the way mankind has evolved, and since we haven't erased ourselves from the earth yet (haha), this has to be the best time, right?
