Lost torn forlorn....?

Question

How to market this particular book whose authors do not have enough money to advertise or market the same....as the book is on the net it is only known to those who know the authors....meaning friends and family? Any bright ideas...For those who want to have a look at the book you could browse through www.authorhouse.com or else www.amazon.com.

That's the problem with self publishing, or on-line publishing. There isn't the mass marketing and promotion that a book needs to make good. You can go to your local newspaper and do an interview with the books editor, talk to someone at a local radio station and see if they'll let you do an on-air interview -- don't be too blatant and say you want to promote your book, but present it as an experience that you'd like to share -- how you went about writing it, what was it like putting it online, what kind of help did you get from authorhouse or whoever, would you recommend it to other budding authors, etcetcetc.
