Yes, in a way. How many 14 year olds do you know who go to bed at 9????
I'd love to be able to concentrate on the story without cringing because of the swearing, the sex and the violence. We don't peep on our neighbours having sex, why do we have to have it on our screen? I don't swear, why do I have to listen to ignorant foul mouthed people saying "feck" over and over again, ad nauseum? It is so boring!
It deadens your mind. I'd love to see more clever tv, which showcase talent, not shockability.

I can tell by the way that you spell "programmes" that you are not in the US. Where are you at? Here in the US, we have some censorship. Not as much as we used to.

Yup, also wish that people would stop advertising adult films and programmes before the Watershed. My kid saw a clip for the upcoming Alien Resurrection on TV and has since had nightmares about Aliens exploding! Thank you Mr TV blokey!!

You say this like the TV is completely uncensored.

Your question should read 'Do you agree that the amount of censorship on TV should be increaced?'

No. censorship is another way the government is controlling us.
Obviously stuff cant be on tv when children can see it...
that goes without saying.
Otherwise, no!

There is censorship, but the criteria have changed. apparently to suit the times we live in. questionable. I think the grading needs to be altered again.

Censorship is there but virtually ignored because so-called modern attitudes have changed.
Sex, violence, and foul language are all deemed to be acceptable.
Reality TV shows do absolutely nothing for me I'm afraid......if that is supposed to be reality please count me out.
TV should be for entertainment, news, and education......in any order that you like.
Today's "anything goes" attitude is simply a recipe for anarchy.

WHO says it isn't there now?

They censor things, just, you don't know about them.

Like what really happens in history. They fib about that just to make the country look best.

Like all those programs they DON'T show because it would uncover the truth about the propaganda they spew.

Just because the allow more cussing, doesn't mean they have ceased censoring all together. It's just more subtle.

I would prefer there to be a lot less swearing on TV. I'd also like to see a lot less of the bad behaviour that goes on in reality shows. I don't actually watch them, but I do see their effect on the behaviour of people in the community.
