Contrary to what PAPABILL has said, NASCAR does conduct formal post race inspections of the top five and two random cars. If NASCAR suspected that Robby Gordon may have thrown an object from his car, they would have designated his car as one of the randoms. If it was discovered that he did in fact throw an object from his car, NASCAR will have a hearing on Monday to review the evidenceand post the penalty results on Tuesday.

I watched it as they replayed it many times at the end of the broadcast. Of course, Robby denied it. Said "it kinda looked like it came off the back of my car". Sure, Robby. Of course it had nothing to do with the fact he was going to be lapped in a few seconds either.

I couldnt tell by the tape they kept rewinding and rewinding. i just assumed it was something being ran over, because i never heard of a driver throwing things out of his car.
i wouldnt be surprised, though- considering we are talking about Robby Gordon. that guy causes more wrecks, cries about everything.....ugh i really dont like him at all.
today when they were interviewing him he really seemed pi**ed off, so i am guessing he threw something out of the car.

I wouldn't doubt it if he threw it out of his car. It looked like the leaders were coming up behind him and that was a sure way to remain on the lead lap. If he did, I hope they fine the hell out of him and take some serious points away.

From the playback they were showing when they interviewed him, it definitely looked like he threw something out the window. Of course he denies it, but he didn't look all that surprised when they asked him about it.

Robby thru something out of his car. No doubt about it.
He should be penalized. Can not stand the guy as a driver anyways.

NASCAR has no after race inspection persay.So there is no way to know but it looked as if it were run over.
