I have trouble downloading iTunes7 and latest Ipod updater. Therefore my ipod does not work. any suggestions?

I have sent my Ipod for repair, before plug it in I need the latest software but even tough it seems i have downloaded and install it still does not work. Ipod support sucks, they want $50 for telling me whats the software problem.

Downgrade if you can't upgrade. It's probably a compatability issue, so get an earlier version of itunes and see if that works. If all else fails, drop me an email.

make sure iTunes isn't running under any other users, my nrother and i share and i went through the same problem
