Can someone tell me about drought?!?

I need to know stuff about drought! fill me in!!

Its simple NO rain NO water = Drought. NO water = NO life

Basically after a long enough drought period all the plant life dies, so the ground starts to crack and dust forms. Because there is no vegetation or water the animals starve. Bore holes for water dry up and so there is little water for people to drink and wash let alone laundry or cleaning. If the place is a farm obviously the people are going broke from no crop and no livestock. It is very disheartening.

Just had one a year ago in the wettest part of America South Louisiana The prairie swamps dried up hardly no wasp mosquitoes red ants or alot of the gnats ants and had to cut the grass onec every couple weeks instead of every 3 days kinda enjoyed it used to all of those things only te opposie could walk thru the swamps with tennis shoes and stay dry where you used to have to use hip boots.Salt water intrusion creeps further inland and help kill more coast line thru killin the vegitation where fressh water usually flows it stops then the salt edges further and further in.

it's when an area does not get their annual rain fall. could be for one year or many years

if you are refering to weather there is not much to it except things get dry and die dirt blows around and things get all messed up.
