Use V= d/t.

V is given in km/h, u need to convert this to m/s. So 40km/h is 11.11 m/s.

therefore t = d/v = 800m/11.11 m/s, which is 72 sec.

800 m is 1/50th of 40 km, so the answer is 1/50th of an hour, or 1.2 minutes. I think. But, then again, I'm a geologist, not a mathematician.
