Sometimes I see movies and then later find out it was adapted from a book. The movies are not portrayed exactly as the book is. It's so hard for me to get the actors faces and voices out of my head. What can I do?

This won't help you since you've already seen the movie, but when I hear they are making a movie from a certain book I run to the bookstore and buy the book.

I try and read the book before the movie comes out. I avoid seeing the movie until I've finished the book that way I don't have that problem. Often, if I've already seen the movie, I don't read the book. It's too hard to push out the images from the movie.
