The Constitution protects freedom of religious expression. It prohibits Government from interfering with such freedom. Therefore, it is Constitutional to have religious postings in public schools.

Anyone who doubts this - bear in mind that the first Congress and Supreme Courts were opened with hours of prayer to God for guidance. The Ten Commandments is featured on the Supreme Court building. Our Thanksgiving holiday was ordered by Congress as a national day of Prayer to God, signed by George Washington.

The founders understood what freedom of religious expression was about. They created the Bill of Rights to protect that freedom against the majority opinion, since Rights belong to every individual American no matter what the majority can be convinced of by clever propagandists.

The school has one job, to teach. Leave the religious teachings to your church, parents or private school of your choice. Public schools have a hard enough time teaching kids the basics. Do you really want them teaching religion too? I don't.
