ahm, its okay but it doesnt really help, vaseline is hot for the face and chances are it might promote early wrinkles. jergens is cool, but I chose not to use it.
I think the best way you can do is not to use soap bars, there are a lot of liquid facial wash for your face, and thus this is not that strong for the face, because strong soaps removes the natural oil that the face produce. second, use a toner preferably dpending on your skin types, like if you have sensitive, dry, acne skin, you should choose which suits your skin... the last step you should do is use moisturizer. It is important as it replace the oil that has been washed out. these are the products that you can buy from the mall...with regards to the name of the product, i prefer the lancome moisturizers and toners, its quite expensive but its worth it... or if you can afford you can try cream de lamer.. gosh, its so effective even celebrity indulge with it, exoensive though...
there are still home remedies, to which is less expensive, less chemicals and more naturals,,, for dry skin olive papaya and oatmeal mask is great as it moisturizes your skin.... there are some homemade recipes that you can get from the internet.
another thing is also the problem that occurs in our hair, skin scalp and nails depends on the diet that we do... try eating more food rich in vitamin e such as almonds, nut, brocolli peanuts beef, kiwi etc... because it helps a lot to promote the utilization of the skin cells and helps to maintain a natural glowing skin, also drink a lot of water, and exercise so that the skin can breathe... more glass of water everyday... water is the natural cure for all illness as it washes away toxins and bring back the nutirents.... taking vitamins is also good

The reason most people don't use jergens or vaseline is because it makes them break out. If it doesn't do this to you, go for it.
Try exfoliating with a wash cloth or facial scrub (or a paste made out of baking soda & water), then wear the moisturizer when you're done. That will make your skin look better than just the lotion.

Oil of Olay or other face cream. There a lots of brands, but Oil of Olay has been around for a long time. Our Dollar General Store has it for $3.50. I can afford that! My skin is softer & it erased about 5 yrs from my age lines! There is a night of Olay too. Get both!

Use a really thick night time moisurizer before you go to sleep (be sure to remove all your makeup before) and then use a thinner one throughout the day as needed. You need to rehydrate the skin.
