Brunel, Goldsmith's College, Kingston, Roehampton, Westminster and London School of Economics. Does anyone have any opinions on any of these universities? (based on experience not rumours!!!)

LSE has far and away the best reputation of those. Brunel is also reasonably well regarded for science/engineering type courses.

The others are all relatively new, and likely to be less well received, regardless of the actual quality of your degree.

Interms of ranks LSE.
LSE specialise in Law, Economics, Politics . . .
Brunel- Business, Engineering, Accounting . .
Kingston- Accounting, Business . .
Roehampton- Business, Accounting . .
Westminster- Design, Accounting & Finance. .

LSE provide really good teaching, facilities & they're one of the reknown University's of London. Right behing UCL, but above Kins College. You might want to check out SOAS (School of Oriental & African Studies) & Kings College.

Westminster is OK ive got experience of Harrow and Regent campuses
Doing well considering its not a well known or regarded UNi

People are good but its not very integrative people stick with people and you could well go through your whole degree and not make many friends with anyone

Always hearing about Kingston...not about the teaching or anything but mostly people go there to have a good time and party - seems to be a good spot

I went to University of Westminster (Regent St).

It is a very well known Uni. The name speaks for itself. Will look good on your CV, though that doesn't count.

Are you interested in Economics? They have a Hall of Residency, various campuses, and Oxford St, a stones throw away.

In my opinion, the London School of Economics has the best reputation. A number of my Law and Commerce profs completed their master's and/or PhD's there.

---I think where you want to go is the most important thing about going to a college, not the school's reputation, "book value", Ivy League-ness, Community College-ness, local-ness, far away-ness, etc. Do not judge a school by its cover. Visit the school, wander around the campus for a day or more, get a feel for it. Visit many schools, so you have a basis for comparison. ---Jim

Out of that lot, I'd say that LSE has the best reputation.
