ok well i am soon gonna babysit 2 boys ages 4 and 6 well anyways the 4 year old can't go potty by himself so how should i help him?? it sounds kinda gross, with any boy or girl, how would i help them go potty or take a poop. especially number 2 when they have to clean up..... so how would i help them??

ask their parents what they do before hand and then you will be more confident in helping them out and it will be part of the routine that they have.

Seems to me that if a 4 year old can't go to the bathroom by himself, the parents need more than a babysitter!

well just tell them they can do it make sure they dont fall in the pot of course and if they go potty 1 or 2 let them wipe themselfs and thenet them off the pot and check that they got it all. it sound nasty and weired i know just get diper wipes they help little kids wipe better and then check and wipe again with toilet paperto dry up the wipes. thats what i have to do with my sisters kids. it may make you fill a little incomfortable but it needs done. well i hope i helped good luck

well ask him if he has to go potty. if he does, help him with what ever needs help with (pants/ diaper) if he goes #2, i guess its like changing a baby, but you tell him to do it himself, if he doesn't know how, have the 6 yr old help him instead.
