True story.. my bro works at a service dept. Guy comes in to have service done, so the technician drives car in the garage. Tech presses what he believes is a "Horn".. then clears out.. 10 minutes later, the entire building is evacuated.. about 16,000 sq.ft of it. Consumers complaining, employees,, everyone thought it was some venting problems, or mold, everyone saying "man, my eyes burn, what's going on?"... the tech is a friend of my bro's and says, "Hey.. don't' tell anyone, but I pressed what I thought was the horn, but it's bear mace, on the front end of the jeep..."

I don't think one single can of Walmart mace on a key chain can top that clearance!

Capsicon (not sure spelled correctly) is used by Law Enforcement, as the irritant.. I suspect it's just of a heavier duty percentage, with much more volume per range.

Yes, pepper spray is more stronger than mace. Pepper spray actually contains various pepper extracts. And yes, it would work on people.

i would assume spray for bears is stronger than regular mace, cuz bears have tougher skin, also regular mace hurts like crazy, even when you spray it on your hand, it feels like its burning. so bear mace it might hurt more ;)
