Just listed a car on ebay, if I sign in and go to 'my ebay' the advert is there, but if I sign out and browse through the listings it isn't there. What have I done wrong?

Sometimes it takes a little while. I post up stuff a lot and never actually see it but get bids.
If you still do not see it and you know for sure you have checked everywhere, go onto the main ebay page, then click on "Live help".

Ebay can be slow at times. It can take up to 5 hours for your listings to show. Don't worry it'll be there;

Nothing. I listed a car for my father-in-law a few months back. I called them when the same happened to me. She told me that it takes several hours before the listing shows. Check back tomorrow and see if you find it!

it could take up to several hours before it appears in the search part or where everyone can seee it.
Sunday nights are very busy for ebay

it can take a while to come on try putting the item number in to make sure it has not gone in the wrong place

I think there is a delay before they add it to the listings
