I used a test it only cost a dollar, at dollar general, it said neg...but I have symptoms. could it be too cheap to work right?

could be or you may have taken the test too early for it to tell. Another way to tell if you are pregnant, take your temperature before you get out of bed for several days and if it is consistently above 98 degrees you are probably pregnant

I would not go to a Dollar Store for that. If you are really concern, buy it from stores. Trust me! Dollar Stores are just a dollar each and it's probably cheap. My cousin did it recently, and it came negative. After a while, she has these symtoms, but she thought she is just having a bad flu...don't ask. So she goes to a doctor, and they tell her by doing a pregnancy test that she was pregnant...boy was she shocked!

I would say the cheaper tests dont trust until after you haven't gotten your period in a few days after your LMP (last missed period). Some tests are made stronger to detect the pregnancy hormone at the first traces of it in your system. The cheaper ones cant detect it until it is a little stronger. But no matter how much you spend.. it can still be wrong.

all the pregnancy tests test the same. some may detect the pregnancy hormone a little sooner than some of the cheaper ones. symptoms of pregnancy often mimic other illnesses. get a second test and try it or better yet, go to the doctor.

No its not the brand or the cost that determine if your are pregnate it is the detection of a pregnancy hormone that you may not have alot of right now but then again many people think they are pregnate and begin to have the syptoms because they are so convinced that they may be. I reccomend you go to the doctor and get a blood test to see if you are pregnate.

I got two pregnancy test from the 99 cent only store with my last pregnancy and they both came up positive. The reason why I took two was to be certain that the first one worked. I went to the doctor and it was confirmed. I was pregnant.

YES i took three pregnacy test from the dollar store they all said neg so i got one from a better place it said pos and i was pregnant. or it could be that you dont have a high enuff HCG level that could also have been my problem so go to your doc and get a blood test good luck

the dollar store test works just as good as the others. wait a week because maybe it's just too early.

long as there is a guarentee on it then its okay try for the store brands if you want to go cheap like CVS or walgreen brand sometimes you can get 3 for the price of 2... they aren't cheap but relief is something you need if your looking for the answer
