I'm not that much of a Christian or anything, infact I'm far from it, but I still want to know why do so many men sleep with women before asking for their hand in marriage, and why do these women let them. I mean I just can't do it but so many people around me are. For all of you who do this type of stuff can you explain to me why do you do it. And please explain in detail. Thank You.

Would you buy a car that you'd be paying for the rest of your life without test driving it first? What has corrupted your mind to thinking that premarital sex is a bad thing? Deciding to have kids is not something to do with someone you've kissed on the cheek and shaken hands with. It's a lifetime commitment. Grow up and do your own thinking. You don't have to be a Christian to be brainwashed.

I'm agnostic and I still think waiting until marriage is the best.
I dont' get those people who compare buying a car ( ie 'would you buy a car without test driving it?') to having premarital sex.
If two people are really in love, they will have a great sex life no matter what!!!

Because the idea that you have to go through a ceremony in which you swap rings is completely irrelevant to the idea of sex. It's solely religious in nature and goes against simple human nature. Sex is a very natural thing and should not be shunned as some terrible thing that only perverts do.

I think most people don't get married before they have sex because they are very antious when it comes to your hormones you will do anything when you are in the mood i would wait until I'm married i want to make sure that I'm building a family with a life time partner. and also many people have differet beliefs i believe in god in the Bible you are supposed to wait until married

some men dont want a full life commitment they just want to to have sex with you leave have sex with thier other girlfreing and then go back to you. if a man really wanted you he would wait I mean either that or ask for marraige now. also men love the feeling that they are breaking the rules and doing that before you married is kinda breaking them.

It IS very much like getting a car or a new pair of jeans, if they don't fit, you don't want to be stuck with them!! I have left many relationships because of "bad" sex, at least they were breakup & not divorces!!!!

Its just like getting a car. You wanna test drive it before you buy it and are stuck with it for the rest of your life. Also b/c sex is very enjoyable for both people. Once you pop you cant stop! ;)

Because people don't take sex or its consequences i.e pregnancy or stds seriously enough. Thats why we have so many abortions.

they throw sex in our faces our entire childhood and when we are teens we are so curious that we do it. its not really worth it though if only people knew. especially with all the sti's around now.
