In fact, Bush is working hard to fight air pollution by development of geothermal energy to produce clean hydrogen.

The newsies won't talk about it, though.

It was the Kyoto Protocol which was actually an amendment to a UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. By Bush "and the Republicans" (biased much?) not signing into this deal I think all they have really done is separate themselves from the UN. Good.

The US has already pledged to engage in talks with other leaders to investigate new technologies to combat global warming. Think all the way back to 1997 if you can and realize that there was another UN Kyoto Protocol that the US didn't sign then either. Are you just now coming into this information? There were legalities involved in said protocol that meant that the US would have been accountable to the UN. No thank you. A smart democrat would have likely made the same moves.

Go read about it some more.

Are you talking about the Kyoto treaty? The reason we didn't ratify it was because it was a bunch of dung that was going to fleece the US for big bucks. China, who by the way is the biggest offender of Air pollution in the world was not even a part of it. It's was nothing but another attempt to fleece America.

Are you talking about the Kyoto Protocol? It punishes the US for it's success and gives China, the worlds second largest polluter, a pass. Sounds pretty fair to me. Is it really any wonder that it hasn't been ratified?

it doesn't exist. Propaganda put out by the leftist and Greens. It's always those nasty Republicans that want to rape the Earth and destroy it's citizens. (or is it the other way around?). At any rate it's all crap, like the junk science behind man caused global warming.

you might be thinking of the Kyoto Protocal, a global warming world initiative that never went through to lower country wide emissions.

The Kyoto Protocol, an International (except for the USA) agreement to reduce emissions.
