Lizards, depending on what kind you get, a great to look at and stay in their cage. Guinea pigs can be taken out and handled a bit more, and you can put them in those plastic balls and let them roll around the house, that's kind of cool. Personally, we have a hedgehog and he is the best pet we have ever had...........and we have had lots of pets!!!

Well, I am a fan of both, and have owned both.
Guinea pigs need a lot of socialization, or else they risk becoming biters. They also need nail clipping, and diet of pellets, along with non-citrus fruit and non-green veggies. They will sit in your lap and ''coo'', once they learn to trust you.
Lizards, well, it really depends on the type you want. They can be anywhere from rather low maintainence, or high maintainence. Things to be taken into consideration is the right heat lamp, a tank that is big enough for that lizard of choice. Access to the variety of live feed that it requires. The mineral dust for that live feed, and vitamins for the water. The right type of bedding, may it be sand, or wood bark. Humidity. Lizard-friendly plants and a few sticks for climbing.
Anti-bacterial hand sanitizer, as well. Before and after, to prevent giving your lizard friend, some unwanted bacteria.

Finally, find out if your local vet clinics have the staff for guinea pigs and/or reptiles. Because both of them, if they get sick, it won't be easy to try and diagnose yourself.

That would depend on the place you have to keep it. And how much you know about them.
To me a guinea pig is a good pet for a novice pet owner. A lizard is a difficult pet to have. If this is your choice, I think you should do a lot of research. Contact your Vet to see if they will see lizards and what they would recommend.

We had a few guinea pigs when I was a kid, and they multiplied like rabbits! They smell....you have to constantly change the sawdust cuz they pee in it. One night something broke into their cage and all were dead in the morning. We still didn't know what it was.

in case you are able to not get what a guinea pig desires then don't get a guinea pig. ' so i don't might desire to get a huge cage ' ? severe. development a C&C one might only fee you 50 greenbacks. don't be affordable with animals.

Depends on if you want something with fur to cuddle with, or something that's cool to look at, but you can't really hold.

I would get a guinea pig. : P But that's just me.
