There is no "model Democrat" like there are model Republicans. The Republicans are a lot more similar in their views than their Democratic counterparts. This is not to say that there's a model Republican - homosexual pedophiles like Mark Foley certainly aren't model Republicans, but if you look across the spectrum of congressmen, you will find a lot more of a difference between Democrats than Republicans.
