You can do internet connection sharing from one computer to the other, but ICS is a beast to set up. It would be less frustrating to get a router.

The router takes only about 30 minutes to set up, and if you don't want to set it up, pay a neighbor kid $20 or $30.

If cards are complicated then using internet connection sharing might be a little confusing two... With ICS you can have one computer (connected to the DSL modem) as the host it must have an available network connect to "share" with the other computer. Run a ethernet cable from the HOST computer to the second computer.

Running the Network setup wizard on the host computer first then run it next on the second computer... A more detailed tutorial is linked below

You will need a network cable long enough to link the two computers and an extra network card installed on the PC which recieves the internet signal.
Then all you have to do is initiate ICS (internet connection sharing) which can easily be setup if you have windows XP.

you can just buy two cables, from any electronic store (best buy, compUSA...etc.) the cable that you have connected the first computer is the same that you will use for the other one. At the back of the DSL model there should be a space that will allow you to plug the second cable.
I hope that helped:-)

Hmm.... Have your DSL filter out from the telephone line.. then run a CAT5 below the domicile (make specific it relatively is gellfilled for exterior use) and lower back into the room the place the different pc it.. you would be on a similar connection.. however the relationship will run slower.. you will would desire to purchase a modem for the sedond pc to boost the relationship lower back up... so in end.. 2 modems.. (one for each pc) exterior Cat5 cable.. telephone line 2way splitter (2) Dsl filters... telephone line>2way splitter>(2)DSL filters>Cat5 from DSL filters to each and each modem> each and each modem to each and each pc... OR... purchase a DSL community hub to split your connection... use your chum google to discover the single right for you.

Read the above to connect two computers together, once you have that done, you just need to share the dsl connection by going to Start > Connect To > Show all connections (on windows XP)
then right click on the dsl connection and click on properties, then select the Advanced tab and check the option that says
"Allow other network users to connect through this coputer's internet connection".
