Healthy diet, good hygiene, don't touch your face, wash and use toner and moisterizer. Aside from that, you just need good genes and healthy hormone balance.

Basically, drink lots of water and wash your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser (don't scrub, that will make it worse). If you have oily skin, you can use a toner after washing. If you have dry skin, a light moisturizer may help. Spot treat blemishes with clearasil or something like it.

If that isn't doing the trick, see your doctor. There are an array of anti-acne meds available- some are creams you apply to the skin, some are pills. But the main thing is to wash twice a day and keep your hands off your face.

Acne is not what people think. I am 44 and battled it my entire life until last year. I ordered PROACTIVE. It really works and is not expensive I spend about 50 bucks but it lasts me like 3 to 4 months. The information booklets they send with it are great you really have a good understanding of acne after reading them. I wish I would of had this stuff when I was younger because I had such a complex about my face . PLEASE try it you will be a believer trust me !!!

some people have skin problems due to eating dairy products in excess. you also need to find a good skin care regime and follow it diligently every day. a once a week clay mask is also good for removing excess dirt. when choosing a product line...be sure it is oil and fragrance free.
