First, you have to relax. If you are not getting your period, there are a few reasons why that might be. If you have been sexually active, then pregnancy could be an issue. Perhaps stress or changes in your body may be causing the disruption.
Your doctor will probably want to do an exam, and then send you for a complete blood work up to rule out things like diabetes and to be sure your thyroid is working properly.

Not to worry. They do a vaginal exam and check your breasts. Ask you a few question. Or you ask them. They may do bloodwork. Try to find out about why you don't have a period. It is something tht can save your life. Doctors do this everyday. This is a part of being a woman that we must accept and not look at as strange. Try to relax and it will be over before you know it. Good luck...

normally it would be a chat about your health, sexual history etc.. and then some blood tests

the dr may give you an internal but usually the blood tests / urine tests are done first to check if there is any inbalance in your system, like Polycystic Ovarian syndrome, hormaonal inbalance, etc..

dont be nervous, if you dont want them to do an exam on you this time, say so, usually they can be very understanding

If you are in a town with a female gyno, you might ask your Mom about going to see a female, if it makes you freak out less! I know it would help me in your situation!

Calm down. Talk with the Dr. first before the exam, let him or her explain everything to you. It will be weird at first, but to keep your health you need to be examined. Take care.

Im pretty sure they will suggest that you get an ultrasound or something to check if there's anything blocking it. dont worry so much. Make sure to go and check things out though. May God be with you.
