No_one is born evil. Another age old question: Nature or Nurture? Environmental or Genetic? Evil is bred into people. They are not born into it. Even mental illness can be explained through genetics, evil cannot be. It is sometimes a learned behaviour, or sometimes the product of mental illness. But to answer the question, even mental illness, although at times genetic, is not usually apparent at birth. Evil is learned, sometimes helped along to nurturing through a mental illness, or disorder. Just look at all of society's sociopaths. The evil in them was nurtured by something, whether it was family (sometimes unwittingly) or the permissiveness of society, it was still nurtured, not inbred from birth.

Well, to answer that question depends on what belief you have, as in if you believe in God etc. If you believe in God then you believe there was a a time that the world was perfect and without sin.. But the fall of man happened blah blah blah..
Therefore now, we are born into sin... Does a baby have time to sin? No, so they are not evil from the time they are born.. But very quickly enter into that.. Just because they have no knowledge does not mean they are evil..
So kids,, they are sinful yes. babies. I don't think so. You are surrounded and in a sinful/evil environment from the day you are born.. that's just the world we live in...

Evil is natural. How far it gets out of hand is the learned part. Young kids bite due to lack of words. Some keep biting due to natural pleasure received from the reaction of the bite (attention or thrill of cause and effect), others learn not to bite. It's not evil in the natural state, it's survival tactics. Racism is learned ignorance. An entirely different subject.

The straightforward actuality? guy knows he got here from his mom and father. guy knows he had a starting up yet do not trust the Bible answer even as others do position self belief in God that created him and the universe. If yet another being round better efficient than the God of the Bible the position is the evidence that he's better efficient than God? won't be able to he damage what the present God did? Or what if there is not any different being better than the God of the Bible that the Bible claims? And that the Bible speaks the actuality. God continuously develop into and there is not any different like him in any respect. Be properly also.

We are not born evil, we are just born into a world filled wth evil. Children are easily influenced by their peers, so you are on the right course by teaching them right from wrong.
I agree. Babies are precious. The humans take away their innocence.

society tells us what evil is... what evil is now doesnt mean it was evil in the past or in other cultures. being selfish is sort of being evil. people do everything for themselves, lets say you see a homeless guy and you give him a sandwich. you get this good feeling inside, like you did something good. your mostly giving the homeless guy a sandwich because you want to feel good about YOURSELF, like you did the right thing. you might say no its because i want the homeless guy to eat. the guy isnt going to starve to death here in USA. Im tryin to say, what is good and what is bad? only the guy that is doing the action knows what his intentions are.

I don't think we were born evil but I do think we were born selfish. Although society does pretty much takes away our innocence after a certain age.

Some people are born sociopaths, and thats probably the closest thing to real evil in people. I accept your point about babies being born perfect, though.

society and parents turn people evil. for example, babies born into the KKK don't hate any other race but their parents show them to hate other races.
but unless you were the devil's child then you would be born evil =D

Well, if we are going to get this floaty with our concepts, then I might as well throw this out there.
Babies have no concept for good and evil, because they don't actually exist. They are abstract concepts created by humans to describe their values.
Not that there are really any implications to this, but you know....
