You should look at your DSL Modem. There should be a place where you put the phone line in and then there should be other places where you put the ehternet cable in. E1 E2 E3 Etc.. You just need a ethernet cable.

Make sure your computer has an ethernet slot if not you can go get an ethernet PCI card.

When you order DSL you should be provided with 1 ethernet cable a router and some DSL filters. Check your router for some more ethernet slots and check your computer to make sure you have an ethernet slot.

If you are using a laptop check to see if it has wirless, check your router to see if it has an antena sticking out. If not then you might need to invest yourself with a new router.

You do not need to buy expensive routers, basically make sure both of your computers have ethernet card so that you can connect them through CAT5 crossover cable which only costs £2.5 in london for 2 meters.

Then you need to share your dsl connection by right clicking on the dsl connection icon and selecting property. or Click on Start > Connect to > Show All connections. Then right click on the connection icon for your dsl and select properties. You will see the properties windows, select the Advanced tab and select Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection option.

Make sure that the computer that is connected to the internet, you need to set the IP address of that computer to 192.168.0.1
