In Triangle ABC., angle C is (7x-3) degrees and segment AB = (3x+5)mm.
Part a. What value of x would make Triangle ABC.equilateral?
Part b. What is the perimeter or sum of the lengths of the sides of the equilateral triangle? Be sure to include the unit of measure in your solution.

a.) in an equilateral triangle, all the angles = 60 degrees. This is because the total degrees of a triangle is 180 degrees and we want 3 equal angles in order to have an equilateral triangle. Therefore all the angles = 180 / 3 = 60 degrees.
Using the equation given for angle C:
7x-3 = 60
7x = 63
x = 63/7
Answer: x = 9

b.) Well since x = 9 from part A, we can find the length of one side of the triangle ABC. Then we will know the other sides since each side of an equilateral triangle is equal length.
From the equation of segment AB:
(3x + 5)mm = (3*9 + 5)mm = (27 + 5)mm = 32mm

Now we know that AB = 32mm, BC = 32mm and AC = 32mm
Then the perimeter is 32mm + 32mm + 32mm
Answer: 96mm

If it is equilateral then all the angles measure 60 degrees.
So 7x - 3 = 60

Solve this to get x, then plug it into side AB to see how long each side is (they're all the same cuz it's equilateral). Then multiply this by 3 to get perimeter.

does the question come with a pic to show u the area or something if not try this its not complete but im still workin on it -

for part A:3(3x+5)=3(3x+5)
this says that the sides times three equal itself solve for x this will help also

for part b: substitute x for the number u got in part a but drop a side the question would look something like this: 3(3?+5)

*remember the degrees of angle C is a throw off pay no attention to that
