Im a struggling musician myself. First of all, you cant just "get famous." You either need to work very hard at it or no someone in the business. Either way you need alot of luck. I would start by booking gigs at coffee shops, bars, and open mic nights at places around your town. Then you can start getting more shows and getting paid a bit. Use that money to get a publicist who will put out your name and get you shows. From there you just keep at it and keep playing shows until you get discovered. There are alot of books on the topic too. Good luck!

Join the band and learn an instrument if you are in school, try to write your own music, do karaoke at the most popular place in the area, get voice lessons, enter every talent show you can get to, live in or be able to get to a big city, offer to sing for free at every possible event, get to know the local important people by volunteering.Be friendly and outgoing to everyone you meet.

well i think u should make a cd or something and send it to a recording studio. thats what my friend did and she is famous now..or u can try american idol?!

it will be hard i can sing relly good 2 i keep going 2 record lables such as virgin records , roca fella, records, e.t.c just start joining fan clubs and maybe take trip 2 hollywood and see who u see

Get an agent. Call up agencies and ask to speak to someone...DO NOT PICK SOMEONE OUT OF THE PHONE BOOK.
