My mother says i'm not responsible enough to babysit. She says I don't do things when she asks me to. How can I improve on my responsibility? And also get my mom to give me daily chores and an allowance?

Hi Kitty Cat. I think by asking the question you are already becoming more responsible. I agree that doing things before your mom asks you to do them would help your case.

You can even make a list of things for you to do and ask your mom if you have left out anything and then do what the list says. Post the list on your fridge or a place where your mom will see it.

Monday - Do dishes, vaccuum
Tuesday - Dishes, take out trash, shovel snow
Wednesday- vaccuum

etc. Hope it helps!

Heres a good one. Take an egg, a raw one. Make a holder sort thing for it (like a babys cradle) See if you can take it everywhere with you without breaking it for 1 week. This will test your responsibilty and determination. An egg is easy to break when raw, you will have to be careful.

Do things without your mom having to tell you to do them. If you see the dishes need washing wash them and dont go tell her u have done it. Wait untill she notices it on her own.
