Well did you change the diaper, feed it, burp it, rocked it, and checked the tempature and it was normal then try rocking he or she and stay calm you may have to have someone else do it because the baby knows when your nerves are bad thats what happened with my daughter she would calm down with my mom and dad but for me she would keep crying so try to relax and baby will calm down and if all that fails take the baby for a ride

Depends on why she is crying. How old is she? Check to be sure she isn't hungry, wet, dirty, top hot, etc. If all those things are fine and she still cries then maybe it could be colic. Good luck I know a crying baby can be a lot of work.
(I used she because I don't know the sex and my youngest is a she. Sorry if it is a boy!)

Calm down take a breath. Put her in her crib walk out of the room for a few minutes to cool off and then go in check her temp, if shes hungry and if shes wet. If she isn't she may just be venting...they do that just as we do. Stay calm and remember shes a baby she loves you so she depends on you to help her. Don't get angry she has no other way to tell you whats the matter. Good luck and if you find yourself getting upset then do what I said put her down in her crib and walk out f the room for a few minutes. OK good luck again

put the baby in a blanket that offers comfort and warmth. Try walking with the baby in your arms, going outside, or taking her for a ride in the car . Offer a pacifier. Expose your baby to continuous noise like the sound of rain or a hair dryer. some babies are overstimulated when parents look at them and talk to them. Trying singing without eye contact for a while; then switch to looking at the baby without speaking.

O.k. don't panic, your baby can tell if you're stressed out so remain calm. Check the diaper, is the baby been fed, and did you remember to burp? Sometimes babies have a difficult time burping. You got to find the right spot that helps the baby burp correctly.

If none of the others work, most were very good suggestions btw, and u are getting frustrated, remember that the baby can pick up on that, and put him/her in a safe place....swing, crib, etc. and take a break. If you are tense the baby will be also...best of luck if it is colic, they have to out grow that one.

Our first son was a quite baby and we were totality taken off guard by our second. Believe it or not we were about to take her to the hospital till I burped her and she calmed down.
So calm down try the basic first ya know burping, feeding, changing, some times a quite dimly lit room is all it takes.
Good luck!

Change nappy, burp him, cuddle him, feed him, sing some nice lullabies, try everything that you normally do when you are faced with a crying baby.
You could also check to see if (s)he is teething or has a temperature. Perhaps your baby is coming down with something?

My eldest was extremely colicky for the first 3 months. I would run a warm bath, light a candle, and get in with my son. The soft lights and warm water would relax him and myself right away. I usually even got a few hours of sleep in afterwards since we would both so relaxed.

Is there something wrong with the child? Does the child have colic? Is the child teething? The role of the mother is to be able to distinguish the types of cries of her child. you should be able to tell by the crying if your child is in pain. hungry, wants attention or something else.
