A black suit is best, dark gray next, then dark navy. A white shirt is a necessity. A black or very dark subdued tie should be worn. A black tie is good to have in your wardrobe in any case. Your suit would be fine if the pins stripes are not vibrant colors as far as proper attire goes for the funeral.I am sorry for your loss.

Yes, absolutely. It's no longer necessary to wear all black at a funeral, though 'conservative' colours are definitely better. I wouldn't wear bright colours or casual clothes, though nice pants and a sweater for the women is OK. I went to one funeral where some people looked like they just came off the golf course and I was disgusted.

Yes. Any dark colour is acceptable. The pin stripes won't matter. What matters is how the family and friends of the deceased are coping, not what people are wearing. Sometimes, it depends on the personality of the deceased. I have been to funerals where the women wore bright, floral prints, in deference to the wishes of the deceased who did not wish the funeral to be a sombre occasion, more a celebration of their life on earth. As long as you are dressed respectfully, it shouldn't matter.

Personally, I would wear the black tie. That way the pink will stand out and the black suit, tie, and I assume shoes will give you a monochromatic look without being too dark because of the pinstripes. Sounds good!
