Quaker State but if you change your oil regularly (as you should) it really does not matter. Everything on the shelf these days meets and/or exceeds current API standards. The only thing does not is the "non-detergent" variety which you have to specifically ask for at most shops.

There is really little differences in oil. I used to think Penns Oil was the best. I became in charge of an organization.s vehicles with then 48,000 vehicles. Several different locations used several different oils including Penns, Mobile, Texaco etc etc. I was going to tell everyone to use Penns and then found there was little or no difference in engine life on any of those oils. For example, we had large Mack engines going 1,000,000 miles without an overhauld on Texaco and other oils. You should listen to the mfg advice on weights. They are necessary for cold start up wear and engine clearances. 10W 40 5w40 etc. If you are off a little, it won't likely hurt anything except your warranty.

The kind that comes in gallon containers. There is less spillage and it is easier to put the used oil back into the container to recycle. Those little quart bottles keep falling over and spilling.
The rest is all the same. Whatever is on special or sale. If you use different brands all the time there is no pattern set up.

Mobil 1. It lubricates better, lasts much longer than regular oil and keeps it's viscosity better in extreme heat and cold.
