The last (and only) war that we lost, if I'm not mistaken Richard Nixon was in charge. Wasn't he Republican?

As for the last war the Us won was Gulf 1. I fought 6 days in that one. I fought 2, 18 mo. tours in Nam ,we lost thanks to all the politicians in Washington not allowing us doing the fight to do our jobs, Korea which is not over just in a time out. I forgot Somalia where we cut & run,. Bosnia were we still are after the war is over, but I guess that one does not count because that was a democrat war with NATO. I guess it makes a differance what party you belong to on whos war this is.

I am thinking terrorists would prefer having Republicans in charge.
Thanks to their misguided foreign policy, we have more enemies than ever. GWB has done more to help terrorism than the terrorists themselves.
