The only "good" I have seen is them getting on the bus and leaving the shopping centers, where they beat innocent civilians with their purses and bags. Something needs to be done about this. I do not take a day off from work and drive all the way to the mall just for some old crotchety grandma to yell at me because I dress too trashy.

Except in areas of the country where the 'women's social club' had not died out yet, Red Hat Ladies only meet to have fun.

Parts of the country that have active service organizations with elections and rules of order and mandatory hosting of teas - just put hats on and kept on meeting their own way.

They are a wonderful group of women who do alot for their community and offer support and fun and a chance for older women to get together and keep active as they age. What is your "purpose"? Do you do anything for your community? I really hate going to malls when I have time, to be ran over and shoved aside by tarts that think they don't have to exercise common courtesy. I hate to stand in line and deal with wild kids that think it's "fun" to throw balls at people while the parents do nothing. Every age group has it's pain in the butt part. Ever heard of respect for your elders. Try it.

They do lots in the community. There is usually a very long waiting list to join a group of ladies. Go to this website to learn more. They have a lot of fun.
