We have couple of Hibiscus plants but not sure what/how to take care of them before winter comes? One of them is still doing really well but another one looks a little sick.

It really depends on WHERE in Texas you are. We're in the southern part of East Texas, and we generally move our potted hibiscus into a greenhouse for the winter, just before the first predicted frost, and leave it there until after the last chance of any frost is long gone.

Talk to someone at your local nursery and see what they recommend.

I stay in zone 7 and caladium did no longer make it. it would have had I mulched the soil 3"-5"; and hibiscus (Rose of Sharon) will make it, yet no longer the tropical like those in Hawaii can proceed to exist the chilly temps. verify the cultivar you have, if it quite is hibiscus -rose of sharon - you do no longer might desire to do something. it quite is deciduous and could leaf out interior the spring.
