I know this is a real basic question but my minds gone blank.

Mass(g) = Concentration(g cm-3) x Volume (cm3)

I know the units work out & mathimatically it makes sense, but does this exist in chemistry?

yes. you can have 2 g/l of something. It means that if you take 4 liters you will have 8 g of something.
