absolutely, it is one of my favorite places!!!! There is a calm that is there that doesnt seem to be other places. You can grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte and sit and read and look outside at the cold and know that there is a story that is about to take my mind and my breath away. And then I can get up after a while from the comfy chair and take a walk to the cd section where I can hear some oldies that I love and check out all the new cd's and after I've heard what I want...its back to my book.. Whatever mood your in, there is a story there to satisfy you. I'm with you I recommend Barnes & Noble to anyone who needs some me time, you'll be so glad you did.

Barnes and Noble is a business and is not the place to study. People who study there take up the chairs for hours at a time and that means other customers cannot use them. The BN by my house also has a cafe. They promote a nice atmosphere. I think they want people to browse and find what they want. Walmart is only about sales. You dont see chairs there.

Not that one but yes I go to Chapters and can stay in there a long time. Browsing, reading, drinking coffee.
