My son is 11 years old and he's tall for his age(5'7) and looks much older than he actually is. He really wants to go trick or treating this year but I don't want people to get creeped out and think he's a grown man going from door to door trying to get some candy. My husband says it doesn't matter because he's only 11. My question is "is my son to tall to go trick or treating?" I don't want to break his heart... He really wants to be a Ninja Turtle this year.

I'm going trick or treating and im about 6 foot, also each year i see people much taller than me going trick or treating, don't worry about it, on halloween your meant to look scary and he can look scarier taller.. i can imagine his height in a few years..he should still go then. (im not a total weirdo going trick or treating, im going with my younger brothers and sister)

My brother went till he was 15..most people don't say anything. definitely let him go (but maybe tell him to ignore it if people do say anything, as he is definitely young enough to go till at least 12 I think=, so well within his rights.

You are only young once ..take him to the parks or suburban Halloween party too..maybe he'll win a prize..it goes up to at least 12 usually.

Deffinently NOT!! you should let him be a kid. enjoy his childhood, because it goes by so quickly. You will 100% regret it if you dont let him, especially since he wants to do it. Let him have fun, Halloween is only once a year.
