A "decision" is choice made based on the individual's rationale, which is a product of their personality. One cannot separate a decision made from their own personality, its two sides of a same coin.

Many introverts have trouble with public speaking. They do make conscious decisions to speak in public, when they need to. It is desensitizing to do it over and over again and many become quite competent at public speaking.

Huh? When their personality says that something is wrong, but it is really right and then they think that maybe it is right, so they do what their personality thinks is wrong, but is inherently right by someone elses standards.
I think that makes about as much sense as your question.
